Captive Son

Captive Son was started as nothing more than a hypothetical project. In April of 2014, after initially forming only to write and release one record, they soon realized they wanted to make Captive Son more than just an online project. Throughout April and May, members Aaron Mong, EJ Boutieller, and Grant Starkey wrote and released their debut single, Repetition, and completed the writing for their anticipated debut Ep, entitled 'The Dream State'. After spending the month of June recording/building anticipation for its release, 'The Dream State' was brought to light, well received by both local and regional audiences. The band is currently busy booking shows for the remainder of 2014, both locally and regionally, as well as planning their next album release, set for 2015.
