The Royal Cartel

The Royal Cartel have become one of the hottest groups in Southern England with their outstanding live show which excites, stimulates and leaves the audience with no choice but to move. They are as exciting to watch as they are to listen to, comprised of four young artists doing what they do best; involving the audience in a musical reality of day-to-day living, expressing the joys and tragedies to which today’s youth can relate. Their self titled debut release, recorded by Mike Hunter, whose previous clients include Marillion and Mansun, prides itself on a swagger and competence usually unheard in a band so young, yet Hunter manages to bring out the raw, untamed energy from the group. Notably in only the last few months, The Royal Cartel have managed to support prog-rockers Marillion in Holland, off the back of this, received interest from the likes of RoadRunner and EMI and win the Marshall Amplification Ultimate Band Contest, which will see the band play at the 10th anniversary of Download festival next year.
