Solo Artist / Singer-Songwriter from Hornsey, North London UK. Best known as the Lead Singer/Rhythm Guitarist of The Swagger.
Lee's sound combines a flavour of indie/Britpop with a fusion of Country/Folk & punky moments.
Now solo forming in March 2021, recently working with music Producer Steve 'Smiley' Barnard, also Drummer of (The Alarm/Robbie Williams) on his self-titled debut solo album 'Part-Time Rock 'N' Roll Star'.
Which consists of 10 original tracks which includes singles 'I Miss U Now' 'Broken Hearted Britain' & 'I Feel The Love'
Featuring special guest Dale Davis (Amy Winehouse) bassist on album track 3 'Alone' an indie-funk-punky vibe which is the most unique & different track on the album.
Also 'Life Won't Get Me Down' taken from the album a bluesy-country-pop song with great harmonies and has been compared to the likes of Johnny Cash/Bob Dylan/Jake Bugg, a foot tapping kinda song that could of been released in the 50s/60s.
The Debut album has been well received being so diverse of many genre's and Selling out The Night Owl in Finsbury Park, London for the album launch with plenty of radio airplay-interviews around the globe.
Debut single 'I Miss U Now' receiving it's radio debut on BBC Radio Surrey/Sussex, also securing an interview with radio presenter Nicky Patrick at (BBC Surrey/Sussex) and has got people talking receiving rave reviews.
Debut single being compared to the likes of Richard Ashcroft of The Verve.
Lee has supported many established acts/bands such as Toyah, Toploader, Mark Morriss (The Bluetones), Hurricane #1, The Real People, Trampolene plus many more.
Lee also got to tour the West Coast of America in 2019 performing with his brother Paul Stevens with his band The Swagger.
Promoting their most successful single 'Chin Up Boy' playing shows in Las Vegas, LA, San Diego, Long Beach & Oceanside California, lighting up the Vegas music scene gaining new fans and plenty exposure.
Lee Michael Stevens is certainly one to look out for as he plans to tour the UK & Scotland with new music planned for release soon.
