Gwen and the Good Thing

Gwen and the Good Thing are a bedroom pop group from Milton Keynes. Described by BBC Music as "bright, breezy and addictive alternative pop", with "lush and well crafted arrangement(s)" (Earmilk), their Kickstarter crowdfunded debut single ‘See My Girl’ was BBC Introducing BHB Track Of The Week – leading to coveted BBC Introducing Stage slots at Glastonbury Festival, Wilkestock, and Standon Calling Festival, plus further airplay from Huw Stephens on BBC Radio 1.

As their following has grown, their music has reached festival stages (Big Feastival, Sundown Festival, the final of the Isle of Wight Festival New Blood Competition) and filled iconic venues across London (The Borderline, Camden Assembly, 02 Academy Islington) and the UK. The band has most recently been picked for London's Savage Sessions, and New Music Monday at The Ned.

In 2020, their music reached over 44,000 listeners on Spotify, garnering 71.2K streams and several coveted playlist spots across the platform.
