The Spacies

The Spacies are an electronic music duo of Northern Virginia natives Ross Lara and Dave Cook. Ross and Dave epitomize quality music composition and innovative, impactful songwriting. The Spacies benefits from the experience and success the duo has achieved through their individual careers, setting the stage for their promising debut as a creative team. Dave is a pop-rock veteran and former Virgin Records recording artist with notable touring and songwriting notches on his belt. Ross is a much sought after producer with a vision and ear that transcends musical boundaries. Having been involved in a plethora of projects from Beatport chart toppers with Grammy Nominee Paul Oakenfold to his international successes in European and Asian markets, Ross has earned the respect of some of the industry's most notable DJs and artists. While their musical backgrounds are quite different, they share the common ground of their love for different musical genres and appreciation for exceptional songwriting. Having outgrown their Northern Virginia roots, the duo collaborates remotely by way of Atlanta, San Diego and Breckenridge, Colorado. Outside the studio, they share a mutual thirst for the proverbial adrenaline rush that is quenched by their shared participation in extreme sports. So it is that Ross and Dave are very excited to be collaborating on a project that combines their musical talents with their passion for adventure and the outdoors, creating a soundtrack for a life worth living.
