Dara Project

English: Dara is a new project from Timisoara, Romania, formed in 2013 by musicians with a common professional background from the local scene. After leaving Negura Bunget Fulmineos and Inia Dinia, wanted to continue the collaboration, to develop some already existing ideas so they called for help of some musicians, who they knew from previous collaborations. Mihai Toma is the person that has recorded, mixed and mastered Negura Bunget’s “Varstele Pamantului” album and also the materials from Katharos XIII and Kultika and Valentin Vizuroiu who is a musician and an active promoter in the local scene, with Coroziv, Blight and Kamifuzzy Rockevents. “Aur” is the first song presented from the upcoming debut album on which we are currently working and planning to finish it until the end of 2014 after which first live and video appearances will follow. The meaning of Dara for us is a calling, an unique mountain under which lays the roots of an old oak whose branches carved in time the mysterious paths where we are expected to discover the ways of knowledge, wisdom, and the accomplishment of the spirit which comes as a result of things made with pure heart. The link between the mountain and the tree symbolizes a strong woven between body and soul, just as our ideas merge and take life in the music we create. Romanian: Dara este un proiect timisorean constituit in 2013 din oameni cu backround muzical comun in scena locala.Dupa plecarea din Negura Bunget Fulmineos si Inia Dinia au dorit sa continue colaborarea asadar au apelat la muzicieni cu ajutorul carora sa poata dezvolta niste idei deja existente;muzicieni pe care ii cunosteau si cu care colaborasera in prealabil:Mihai Toma este cel care a inregistrat,mixat si masterizat albumul Negura Bunget “Varstele Pamantului” si materiale cu Katharos XIII si Kultika, iar Valentin Vizuroiu este un muzician si promoter activ in scena timisoreana cu Coroziv, Blight dar si cu Kamyfuzzy Rockevents. “Aur” este prima piesa prezentata din materialul de debut la care se lucreaza in prezent si pe cre planuim sa-l finalizam pana la finele anului 2014, urmand apoi sa realizam primele aparitii live si video. Dara pentru noi inseamna o chemare, un munte aparte in baza caruia se afla radacinile unui stejar batran, a carui crengi au sculptat in timp cararile pline de mister, ce ne asteapta sa descoperim caile cunoasterii, ale intelepciunii, ale desavarsirii catre spirit si ale lucrurilor facute din suflet.Legatura dintre munte si arbore simbolizeaza o impletire puternica intre trup si suflet, la fel cum ideile noastre se contopesc si iau viata in muzica pe care o cream.
