Broke Till Friday

Broke Till Friday formed in 2005, in Jacksonville, FL. (Middleburg, FL to be exact.) They were formally known as 3-piece alternative band Verticon. After years on that project, Verticon wanted to create an edgier sound. Ironically, Guitarist Vinny contacted Eric on MySpace, and soon after they added a fourth member, allowing for a two-guitar, two-vocalist setup. The band morphed from a slower, darker heavy alternative sound to a faster, catchy pop-punk sound, with major influences such as Blink 182, Less Than Jake, and Goldfinger. From rock ballad songs such as "Regret", to the ska influence of "Cards", and the angsty punk anthems of "Bumper Sticker" and "My Best Friend's Girlfriend", BTF should have something for everyone's taste. If you are into punk rock and like to drink a few beers and have a good time then Broke Till Friday maybe for you. The only way to find out is to see a show.
