About GOODLUCK

GOODLUCK
GOODLUCK
Born and raised in Cape Town, GoodLuck is one of the most exciting live-electronic bands who have consistently smashed out top 40 radio hits and high-energy live shows since 2011. As one of the country’s most successful exports, the band has been touring the world with a clear focus to use their music as a force for good & to spread happy, joyful energy around the world.

Since 2011, the duo Jules and Ben have been making music that brings people together and keeps dancefloors moving, without taking themselves too seriously. With 29 x Top 40 radio singles, 12 x reaching #1 on. the charts, and thousands of live performances worldwide. They’ve sold out shows across South Africa, the UK, Germany, the Netherlands, Namibia and Vietnam, and have shared stages with some global heavyweights including Pharrell Williams, Groove Armada, KYGO, Martin Garrix, Lost Frequencies, Basement Jaxx, Jungle, Robbie Williams and more.

The band founded and produces their own festival experiences, including Get Lucky Summer and the music-and-safari phenomenon Beats in the Bush, together welcoming around 25,000 people annually into spaces built on fun, joy, inclusivity and shared celebration. You’d understand why there’s such ardent support when you see their live show. This is what really sets GoodLuck apart. It’s not about standing back and watching. It’s about being part of it. The energy is high, the connection is immediate, and the response is always the same. People dance. A lot. There’s a rawness and joy to the show that feels rare, especially on big festival stages.

In many ways, GoodLuck remain a beautifully rare thing… an act with mainstream success and underground credibility, equally at home on major festival stages and intimate, soul-driven experiences. GoodLuck are experienced, trusted and easy to work with, but still hungry, still excited and still deeply connected to why they started.

They make music to lift the room. They play shows to bring people together. To leave festivals happier than they found them.

As GoodLuck prepare for the next phase of their career, the band keeps true to the core of who they are and why they exist. “We know that if we keep writing great songs that can help people through all the chaos in life and if we can keep us all dancing… everything else will fall into place.”
