Performing Journey to the highest level of musicianship with outstanding vocals as sung by Riccardo Curzi. His vocal talents are one of the closest things you will ever hear compared to Steve Perry. The band complements him with amazing backing vocals and wows the audience with an exciting and energetic live performance. Absolute Journey Tribute brings to you a faithful reproduction of the Journey live show, enriched by audience interactivity and true-to-the-original costume changes. To say the least, after watching Absolute Journey Tribute, you will feel like you have left an actual "Journey" concert … and that is our goal to leave a lasting impression on our audiences. RICCARDO CURZI -Lead vocals Riccardo has always had the passion for singing loud and proud. Since he was 18 he has been honing his technical and expressive vocal skills to match the perfection of his masters: Steve Perry, Freddie Mercury, Chris Cornell, Bobby Kimball, Eric Martin, Bruce Dickinson and many others. Hungry for live performances and driven by a lifetime commitment to music he is finally putting his experience into action by paying tribute to Journey. He also plays guitar and keyboards and is currently writing songs for a future solo album release. TRISTAN AVAKIAN - Guitar and background vocals. PETER TONG - Keyboard,Rhythm guitar and background vocals KEVIN "TOAD" SAULNIER - Bass and background vocals. JEFF SALEM -Drums Jeff is an internationally recognized drummer based in Toronto, Canada, who has performed in over 70 countries. His professional career started in his late teens performing and recording with well known rock bands such as Fist (A&M), Sword (Aquarius), Saints & Sinners (Savage/BMG), Lee Aaron (Attic), Randy Bachman, Robben Ford, Coop-De-Ville, Kalan Porter (Canadian Idol Winner 2004), and many other artists. Jeff is known to be a versatile drummer, performing and reading all styles of music. Jeff had the opportunity to perform on a millennium cruise to Antarctica working with various artists including The Chieftains, Diana Krall, Natalie McMaster, Art Garfunkel and with the actor Dan Aykroyd. Jeff is also the creator and founder of the group “ENVIRO DRUM” This band creates percussion music with recyclable products similar to the group STOMP. Enviro Drum has been performing concerts at many schools for the past 4 years. Jeff has also franchised Enviro Drum to a group out of Washington D.C./ U.S.A. www.envirodrum.org Jeff has released 3 instructional videos titled: Groove-A Diddles, Drumology and Double Bass Vocabulary-Volume One.
