Ryan Matthew

Ryan Matthew is a singer-songwriter from Denver, CO. Formerly known as the lead guitarist from The Northern Way, a band that gained traction with their single "Crazy" which received national attention due to its regular airplay on Denver's predominate alternative rock station, KTCL. Later on, he joined as a member of The Heyday. Ryan also toured the U.S. several times with Matt Hires in support of Matchbox-Twenty, The Goo Goo Dolls, and Parachute. After being a part of several bands, Ryan decided to write songs about the turbulence of being in ones mid-twenties. His first EP titled Love, Hate, Death is about the frustrations one can face with conflicting group dynamics, the pain and beauty of love and loss, and most specifically a terrible work environment which was the main inspiration behind his first single "Do Your Best". Love, Hate, Death was recorded in Fort Collins, CO at the Blasting Room. Produced and engineered by Andrew Berlin. Released April 8th, 2016.
