Victory Of The People

Victory of the People is a melodic metalcore band from Royal Oak, MI. The band was formed in July of 2015 by vocalist Nikolai Alexander who had a previous project with keyboardist Morgan Paige. Nikolai was heavily influenced by metalcore bands Parkway Drive, Bring Me The Horizon, and Miss May I. The two worked with many different musicians. Notable past members include Paul O'Hara (guitar), and Mark Knapp (bass) The band has released their debut single "Where The Sky Meets The Water" along with other singles "Fortune Teller" and "Sand Castles" and they are currently recording their first full length album. The album, now titled "Timepieces and Their Keepers" discusses themes of anxiety, depression, suicide, and betrayal. The album's lyrics are written by Nikolai Alexander, and the music is written by Nikolai Alexander, Morgan Paige, and Mark Stewart of Raydon Studio who is currently producing the album.
