Carl Muller was first introduced to the house music industry in Sri Lanka as an event manager/promoter back in 2008 and had come to have a great love for the house music genre being influenced by local headliners Shiran D, Jay Deep, Shiyam, Romano, Van Luup, Yazz, Upul and Jayy Vibes. Carl Muller first started off as a bedroom DJ, making podcast's and gradually growing his love for house music, following world renowned artists such as Jerry Ropero, Joris Voorn, Thomas Gold, Paul Thomas, Funkagenda, Pryda, Josh Butler, Bontan, D-Nox & Beckers, Format B, D Ramirez, Popof, Nice7, Alex Stein, Loud Control, Plastic Robots and Groove Delight to name some. Carl Muller from being a bedroom DJ went on to play at private parties and eventually got into the industry in March 2014 playing his first ever event for Booka Booka a trademark originated in Sri Lanka. Carl Muller has played alongside international DJ's Sequel, Filthy Rich, Anil Chawla, Juliet Fox, Deborah de Luca, Tony Montana, Moog Conspiracy and Funkagenda Carl Muller has now been added as a Booka Booka Resident DJ. Booka Booka is a monthly event which brings together Sri Lanka’s UDM brand ambassadors onto one stage.
