About Electrocrush

Electrocrush came to fruition around the end of 1999. Founded by brothers Jimmie and Jodica Nitrez, Electrocrush entered the realms of electronic and industrial music. Breaking trends and remolding them into influential pieces of audio and graphical art. Electrocrush has been noted for providing theatrical performances. In doing so, the band would like to state, in advance, that their visually artistic embodied audio eccentricities are to be perceived as entirely truthful or fictional as its audience chooses to believe. In short, the band allows its audience to be as involved or as disconnected as they allow themselves to be. After hard work and dedication, they produced their debut CD, “Lostuneasy” in 2005. The music is written to reach us all through its diversity and complexity. The ability to shift mood, thought, and feeling has resulted in the band being labeled as “Experimental”. Inconsequently, the diversity of their music and writing style has made it very challenging for Electrocrush to sustain a solid line up, and as a result they have been through several members. Through the influence of the past and also current members, the idea of the music has evolved emphatically. Prior to their current line-up of members, Electrocrush had always felt comfort in using a drum machine over percussionists. Yet Jimmie and Jodica's minds were swayed in crossing paths with Schmo Moceri. His ability to recreate their complicated drum structure without losing its unique feel secured him a permanent position in the band. When Electrocrush lost W.E. (audio/lighting technician), original Electrocrush pianist Dravin stood up to take the position. The final link to completing Electrocrush. Stealing Angels is coming, late 2019!
