The Arcadian Wild

Yall were incredible! Crowd was so fun, the venue fit your vibe so well. Your lyrics are poetic, beautiful, intentional, and artistically written. God’s beauty and glory shine in the way yall perform and take joy in your own music! It was a memory my girlfriend and I made by being there. Thanks to The Burl for hosting yall! Please come back to Lexington!

One of my favorite concerts so far! The opener Oh Jeremiah were so funny and down the earth. The Arcadian Wild were so sweet to the crowd. Their vocals had me tearing up at some points! I went not knowing very many of their songs, but it was so worth it. Go if you have the chance!!

My favorite band... absolutely loved the show... my 3 youngest kids and a friend came with me... the band even engaged with my kiddos during the show and my kids came out loving them even more than when they went in. The lyrics, melodies, harmonies, overall musicality and chemistry of this group is such a joy to be a little fringe part of each time I see them. Venue was great as well, staff very friendly and helpful.

They did an excellent job performing, even with some sound tech hiccups and a broken string towards the end. They also played some new and old songs and the whole audience was really engaged the whole time. They are quite charming, and Lincoln was basically a total goober the whole time, but in a good way. You could tell he was enjoying himself. Would definitely go again!

One of the best experiences of my life. In person they sound nearly identical to their recordings. Their musical skill paired with all the lovely stories of their songs’ inspirations made for a memorable and fantastic evening. Will definitely see them again when they are back in my area!!! Incredible show! These folks are outstanding! Super talented musicians. Their instrumentation and harmonies are out of this world. The venue was very intimate and we were able to get food delivered to our table from next door and it was delicious. Unfortunately there were only around 5 tables so you need to get there early if you want to get one. We were able to find parking, though not sure if it would have been that easy if we had arrived a bit later (we were there before door opening - although it said doors opened at 7:30 and it was closer to 8 when they opened). I would go again though and I'll definitely watch out for when The Arcadian Wild comes back in town.

My first concert and first venue. Overall, it was an awesome concert. I'm not one for big crowds, so the size was good for me. The opener River & Rail, the not brother and sister duo, were amazing. I'm definitely going to listen to them more. And of course, The Arcadian Wild killed it. I enjoyed every second of the concert and theu sound just as good if not better in person than on Spotify. Can't wait to see them again next time they roll through MA. 10/10

The show overall was great! My main complaint was that the show was listed as a limited ticket seated show, but at least half of the audience was standing and it took some major work on my part to gets seats for my wife and I. The evening was enjoyable in the end, but could have been less than if we hadn’t been able to get seats.

Such an engaging and enjoyable show! Exceptional musicality, lyrics that span such variety of human experience, and a most engaging stage presence. One of my all time favorite shows of theirs to date. Was delighted to have them treat us to the masterpiece Principium as an encore. Space is a most hospitable setting, with a most hospitable staff. Pairs well with the soul of The Arcadian Wild.

I've lived her for 30 years but this was my first time at the Ramkat and the staff were welcoming and helpful, the atmosphere at Gas Hill was casual and friendly. The Arcadian Wild were all that I hoped for an more. There was a synergy between them and the audience, a full sharing, of us welcoming them for their first time to Winston Salem and them welcoming us into the living room of their hearts through their amazing music and stories. I am so very glad I went and took others with me. I will go to see them again and will likely return to the Ramkat, too.

This show was absolutely incredible! I loved listening to their music before, but it has become so much more special after sharing it with a room full of people who knew all of the words, and listening to the stories and thoughts behind the songs. We have a little one on the way, and I think he enjoyed it as much as we did! I can't wait to tell him all about it someday. P.S. Huge plus for the large and centrally located water dispenser, thank you to whoever set that up.

Have to rate this a 5 out of 5 for the band. The Arcadian Wild are fabulous musicians and performers. The concert was amazing, however the venue was pretty terrible. It might be good for an EMO night or RAVE, but for enjoying an all acoustic progressive bluegrass band, it was not good. We were literally the first ones in the door so we had the pick of all 4 tables with seating, but the entire rest of the venue was standing room only. The drinks were expensive and came in plastic cups, and the ceiling is low and the venue is narrow and long. About the worst setup for live music you could imagine. We won't be returning to the Rebel Lounge, but we will be seeing the Arcadian Wild if they come to AZ again. The main negative with this venue was due to the standing room only, and long narrow room, visibility of the stage (which was only about 12 inches higher than the floor due to the low ceiling) was so limited that if you weren't within 10-15 feet of the stage you couldn't see anything. The venue was also wouldn't allow one of our group in the 21 and over area even though she provided an ID that had a date showing she was clearly over 21, because she hadn't gone and gotten her "over 21" ID yet. Treated her based on the type of ID rather than her birth date. Totally uncool. Hopefully we'll be able to help the Arcadian Wild find a better venue for the next time they are in AZ.

Everything about the evening was very enjoyable and unique ... from the venue to the band and including the opening act . The event was held at a home in Huntsville, AL. With an occupancy of around 50 guests, the venue was intimate which made the music that more enjoyable. The hosts were very welcoming and hospitable.

Absolutely loved it!! As a big fan of the band gong with a medium fan and a person who had barely heard of them, The Arcadian Wild put on an excellent show for all people and ages. They are real, honest, pure, and positive in everything they do. The location was fun and vibrant and small which made it even more special!

What a feast for the ears at The Arcadian Wild concert last night! We heard a perfect mix of some of our favorites songs along with new songs that will become new favorites. They left us deeply satisfied but wishing it wouldn’t end. This band is so stinkin’ talented! We’re baby boomers so it was so fun to watch a roomful of 20-somethings grooving and singing along with TAW’s folksy yet sophisticated sound and deeply engaging lyrics. We loved the intimate venue, too, but I hope one day they can pack out a bigger space. We definitely hope to see them again their next time through OKC.

Words can't express how good the music had me feeling. The show was everything I could've hoped for and more. Their live music is just as good as their studio work; they're very talented artists and people! The group is very personable. Their audience interaction and the pretty venue made the experience even homier. I'd go to see The Arcadian Wild again in a heartbeat.

The Arcadian Wild brought beautifully complex music, harmonies, humor, and storytelling to the stage. I admire that they stayed afterward for a little meet and greet, too. Even though this was the last show of the tour, the group had just as much pep in their step as at the first show, which I also attended, and were intentional about giving us their all. (I was introduced to local artist McKenzie Lockhart at this concert, too, and it was awesome to hear her play and meet her!)

Simply speechless. My family and I were the first ones there and claimed spots in the front row. Opening band was out of this world. The band was so full of talented, pitch perfect, incredible musicians. Not only were they musically talented, but they were immensely entertaining performers as well. The perfect opening for a perfect band. I've been a huge fan of The Arcadian Wild for years. I've bought nearly everything from their store to support them. Every song of theirs has touched me, but no piece or pieces of music have touched my soul like their Principium E.P. I could write essays and novels about this E.P. alone. Their records have become very prized pieces of my vinyl collection. Their show in Columbia was the closest to my home town that I've seen them tour, so I couldn't miss it. Each member of the band was phenomenal. The vocals from Lincoln Mick and Isaac Horn were incredible as always. In pitch, in time; it sounded better than any live performance I've ever heard from any band. The amazingly talented Bailey Warren never ceases to impress audiences with her radiant voice and beautifully complex fiddle performance. And I saw a new face in the form of the band's newest upright bassist. Every time they shouted out her name, it was too loud for me to catch it, but she blew me away. Not only was her execution of these intricate basslines perfect, but she always appeared surprisingly calm and relaxed. Seeing such beautiful music performed by such talented people, each in their element and enjoying themselves to the fullest, was a treat unlike any other. And their ability to play such beautiful music was only rivaled by their ability to bring smiles to the faces of everyone in the audience. It baffled me just how likable everyone was. They told short little stories between some of the songs just to give insight and context to its composition and inspiration. Amazing people, amazing music. Running out of characters. I loved the show and I love you all.

Enjoyable hardly scratches the surface as I reflect on my experience of last night’s The Arcadian Wild show. Engaging music, articulate performance, moving and relevant lyrics. So appreciated the banter with the audience, too, and the way the band members appeared to enjoy one another. While I am a fan of TAW’s recorded music, do not pass up a chance to experience their energy, passion and beauty in person!

This is an excellent group. We enjoyed the entire concert and plan to go to future concerts. We loved the intimate setting and the chemistry they had with each other. We really enjoy both of their albums to this point and look forward to many more! Keep it up.
