About Treble
Treble is New York City's finest all-female a cappella group, comprised of 12 women dedicated to the art of pop-rock vocal performance. The group was founded in 1996 by a collegiate a cappella group alumna who was eager for a musical outlet in the "real world." She recruited a few fellow talented vocalistas to join her and Treble was born.
Their diverse rock, pop and jazz repertoire includes songs by artists such as Michael Jackson, Whitney Houston, Florence and the Machine, Alex Clare, Scissor Sisters, Ellie Goulding and many more.
The ladies harmonize weekly to prepare for performances at various venues and events including Joe's Pub, Parkside Lounge, The U.S. Open, the Guggenheim Museum, and Lincoln Center. Off-stage, each Treble-ette is devoted to a noble professional cause. On-stage, they cultivate a rich blend of tones that leave the audience wanting more.
