BUSBY MAROU

Nothing better than great Australian music played with heart and soul. The best gig ever! Can’t believe I finally got to see them live after following their music for such a long time!! Amazing!

Fantastic night with awesome tunes, always a great band to see

Could not wipe the smile off my face all night. Tom and Jeremy have an amazing stage presence, and the vibes were real at this intimate gig - this is true live music at it's best. I would see them again and again , before some big stadium act. Their lyrics are beautifully written, their music - beautifully played. Awesome night out!

Brilliant show, and a great little venue. I’ve seen Busby Marou plenty of times over the years - they’ve set the bar pretty high as far as expectations go. Their 20 year anniversary gig did not disappoint! So much fun.

Exceptional. Loved it.

My wife and I enjoyed seeing Busby Marou and Dylan Wright. Technically and artistically, it was an enjoyable gig. However we didn't enjoy the rush/confusion at the start, sitting at lower tables at the back, and not being able to actually see the artists. A pizza and a salad (both tasty) was served without cutlery or napkins. A couple of times, we individually went closer to the low stage, to have a closer look at the artists, behind a wall of the standing crowd, many with their smart phones above their head. I think that the Cleveland Sands Hotel (CSH) is not the ideal venue for the more older, 'sedate' crowd to see live shows. I'm 67 and Beata is 56 and not intereste in squeezing into the mosh pit, standing tall with our phones, and restricting viewing to many of the spectators behind. I think that in future, we'll stick to concerts in a seated venue. We probably won't be returning to this venue - at least to 'see' a live show. Perhaps just for a lunch - it seems like an excellent Weekend Lunch Venue with friends. Could I suggest to the CSH to install a couple of large monitors and live stream the show. That might satisfy the old folk like me. I was surprised that that is not already there. I guess I've been spoilt by Venues accommodating all patrons, not just those at the fron. Words cannot explain how unreal these guys and their band are! I am still smiling from the concert! Was unreal! Loved every second! Can’t wait to see them again!!
