What a fabulous fun night at TEOA's concert, in the SHOWROOM - Keene, NH. The 3 band members of TEOA sing and play their original folk/indie/bluegrass and country music with such command in their musical synchronicity, they sound like one beautiful instrument playing just for you. They are Outstanding musicians, songwriters and such a multi-talented band who fluidly trade intruments and setups on stage, to bring you the next song with the best musician arrangement. Hot damn what a night! The Showroom acoustics are impeccable and the audience seating is so comfortable, you float while listening to music at its best. We did howl with the band in one song! Hats off to all involved for bringing TEOA fans a night to remember. Well done and can't wait for more! Woohoo!

As a complete fan of TEOA, I have seen them perform live many times and yet each time they add something to the performances making each time fresh and wonderful. In addition to some amazing re-works of some of their older songs, TEOA added a superb Cellist to their line up. The deeper, vocal quality of the cello blended so well with the singers' close harmonies and provided a counterpoint to the banjo and guitar that elevated this performance into the realm of the sublime! If I could give 10 stars out of 5 I would. This was the first time I had been to the new City Winery location, and it didn't disappoint either. The Loft was a great intimate location. The wait staff, sound and quality of food were all great. It was a little too warm for comfort, so anyone planning on going to the Loft should know to dress in layers if possible when it is cold outside. Wearing a long sleeve sweater was not a great idea in that space.

About TEOA

TEOA (The End of America) is a band of friends, singers and travelers who blend three-part harmony with indie rock and folk. The Philadelphia/NYC outfit credits their name to a passage in Kerouac’s On The Road about exploration through travel. The trio drifts through styles that resonate with fans of The Avett Brothers, CSNY and Dawes.
All frontmen of previous bands, Brendon Thomas, James Downes and Trevor Leonard met on tour in 2005. Quick to become best friends, they’d frequently join each other on stage, adding harmonies to each others’ songs. After the coinciding stall-out of all three of their other projects, they decided to create a trio that highlights their vocal chemistry and captures the raw honesty of their performances.
Since their formation, they’ve released three albums and are now releasing a new single every month for the next year. Their fourth single, “He Was a Friend of Mine” was featured on Spotify’s ‘Fresh Folk’ playlist.
With a whole host of new music released, the band is gearing up for a full year of US and European touring. Anyone who has seen TEOA can attest to their powerful harmonies and stage presence. The End of America has performed at SXSW, Savannah Stopover and the Baltimore Folk Fest. They have shared the stage with Larry Campbell, David Bromberg, Gary Louris (The Jayhawks), Simone Felice (The Felice Brothers) and joined Beck in Los Angeles to perform for his Song Reader sheet music release show. The trio's appearance at the show aired live on KCRW and received praise from Spin, Filter and The Hollywood Reporter.

James Downes, Trevor Leonard and Brendon Thomas were all frontmen of other projects. Together they have released two EPs (Steep Bay & Shakey) and one LP (The End of America) with “soul-striking harmonies and folk-rock melodies.” -WXPN, The Key
