HIVE

HIVE is a Progressive Deathgroove band fusing suffocating atmosphere, complex rhythms, and relentless groove into a singular, punishing sound. Since their self-titled EP in 2016, HIVE has carved their own path through, evolving with each release The Mirthless Kind (2019), Exuviae (2022), and now Conduct of Flies.

Exuviae marked a pivotal transformation, an album that became the band’s most defining yet, amassing over 6 million streams across its eight tracks since its release. That process of metamorphosis left behind not just a husk, but a foundation.

Now, Conduct of Flies emerges from the decay. Gritty, industrial, and visceral, it channels the pulse and ferocity of Mick Gordon’s DOOM soundtrack while dragging HIVE’s signature sound into new, more volatile territory. It’s the sound of evolution made flesh: the buzzing aftermath of transformation, the swarm that comes once the body has split open.
