Lean Hounds

Lean Hounds formed in Austin, Tx in January 2010 and began playing shows just two months later. Lush synth sounds and layered rhythms help to set them apart from other like minded bands. Singer, David Shackelford's vocals can jump from a howling plea to a self-assured whisper in the bat of an eyelash. Along with Shackelford, Nick Whitfield, Ian Hunt, and Josh Mills, like to let their songs breathe. They consider space very important, which is evident considering how dynamic they tend to be.
