SPA: Double Size aka Sergio Gómez nace un 10 de octubre de no hace mucho tiempo en Madrid (España). Desde que cumple 6 años siempre ha estado muy unido al mundo de la música. Recibe lecciones tanto de solfeo como de guitarra durante más de 5 años. El tiempo hizo el resto, su amor y dedicación hacia la música, en especial a la electrónica, le hacen tener claro cual va a ser su papel en este mundo. Más tarde Sergio empieza a formarse por si solo colaborando con radios nacionales como 40 principales o Máxima FM. La composición musical, producción audiovisual o la promoción de eventos son solo complementos a su verdadero talento; mezclar música. Sergio viaja a Londres y decide establecerse allí durante más de 2 años, muy unido a la discográfica EMI music. Estaciones de radio tales como Roundhouse Radio o Rinse FM hacen un hueco especial a nuestro dj, incrementándose así sus conciertos y sesiones a lo largo de la capital británica. Double Size comienza su primera residencia en el famoso club PACHA London y en el club undreground de referencia en Londres; Egg Club. También ha pinchando en salas como; Ministry of Sound, Fabric, Movida, Aqua, The Coronet , Cable o Scala. Su selección musical, desde el house más fino y elegante hasta el electro más cañero, le hacen ser un DJ extremadamente personal y con un estilo único a los platos. Dj’s y productores como Bob Sinclair, Michael Calfan, The Shapeshifters, Layo & Bushwacka! o la mayoría de artistas del sello DEFECTED avalan su paso por el Reino Unido. Double Size no solo trabaja con artistas de música electrónica; ha compartido escenario con bandas y grupos de la talla de Vetusta Morla, Love of Lesbian, Lori Meyers, Supersubmarina, Iván Ferreiro, Celtas Cortos, La Oreja de Van Gogh, Pereza, Sidonie o Fuel Fandango entre muchísimos otros. Sergio crea en 2013 su radio show “100 beats with Sergio Gomez” , retransmitido en varios países tales como Portugal, EEUU o Alemania. Actualmente Double Size reside en Madrid combinando sus viajes a Londres junto a conciertos por toda España y Europa. Sergio flies to London and decide to settle there for over 2 years, closely-knit to the record label EMI music. Radios as Roundhouse Radio or Rinse FM made a space for our DJ, increasing his gigs and events along the United Kingdom capital. Double Size starts his first's residencies at PACHA London and EGG club. Also, playing in the most famous clubs in London as; Ministry of Sound, Fabric, Movida, Aqua, The Coronet, Cable or Scala. His music selection between the finest house music to the crazy and acid tech house or EDM, make him an extremely personal DJ with an unique mixing technique. Dj's and producers as Bob Sinclair, Michael Calfan, The Shapeshifters, Layo & Bushwacka! or most of the DEFECTED's record label artists support his passage through the United Kingdom. By the way, he doesn't work just with electronic music artists. Double Size has shared stage with bands and artists as; Vetusta Morla, Love of Lesbian, Lori Meyers, Supersubmarina, Iván Ferreiro, Celtas Cortos, La Oreja de Van Gogh, Pereza, Sidonie or Fuel Fandango among many others.
