Divinex

Based in Rochester, NY, Divinex is an exploration of progressive metal unlike any other. Incorporating advanced and intricate guitar parts, along with automated electronic elements, Divinex pays careful attention to music structure and development to achieve sonic experiences that are just as rich and melodic as they are complex and exciting, all while standing confidently on their own as instrumental pieces of music. Each song is its own adventure through a variety of musical textures and moods, while also pushing the boundaries of technicality and rhythmic experimentation.

The band's first serious EP release, "Movement" was released in January 2014 as a concept album wherein each of its four chapters connect into one half-hour experience. The album, with the help of its feature track "Event Horizon," has received exceptional buzz and feedback around the world.
