The Konvalescent is an American Metalcore band from Atlanta, Ga formed in 2014. The band's current lineup consists of lead vocalist - Moni Patel, rhythm guitarist - Brian Legree, lead guitarist - Ash Shakur, bassist - James Taylor, and drummer LaNise Essick. Their sound is heavily metal-core influenced, with the signature trading of clean/screamed vocals and dual guitar harmonies reminiscent of older Avenged Sevenfold or Bullet for My Valentine, but with the addition of some funk sounds and death-core styled breakdowns.
