Mark Searcy Music

American guitarist, songwriter, and recording artist Mark Searcy blends acoustic blues, Americana, roots music, and original storytelling into a stripped-down, guitar-driven sound.
A native of Benton, Arkansas, now based in the Texas Hill Country, Searcy has released twenty studio albums and four guitar transcription books. His work has earned a Texas Music Award for Musician of the Year, multiple Texas Music Award nominations, and a semifinalist honor in the International Songwriting Competition.
Searcy has made three appearances at the International Blues Challenge in Memphis and was a finalist in the Telluride Acoustic Blues Competition. He has performed at venues including Buddy Guy’s Legends, Beale Street, Gruene Hall, Luckenbach, Historic Victory Grill, Club Ebony, and Sam’s Burger Joint, and has shared stages with artists including Walter Trout, Shemekia Copeland, Ruthie Foster, Carolyn Wonderland, Chris Duarte, and The Cash Box Kings.
Today, Searcy performs primarily as a solo acoustic artist, combining traditional blues, Americana, original songs, and stories with more than two decades of recording and performing behind him.
