Midnight Radio

Midnight Radio (MR) is a bilingual alternative rock group from San Francisco, California. The band consists of frontman Rolando Samperio, drummer Nefer Kass, and bass player Luis Murillo. Over the past 5 years, Midnight Radio has built a strong following of fans in both the English and Spanish-speaking communities with a powerful arsenal of soaring melodies and gritty, guitar-driven grooves. Members have performed in venues such as the legendary Whisky a Go Go, the Great American Music Hall, the Rockit Room and Voodoo Lounge, as well as locations around the globe, including Mexico City and San Juan Capistrano. Currently, MR is finalizing the soundtrack for upcoming film Amor Se Escribe Con Sexo. The band’s rich, multilayered sound comes from its unique mix of cultural backgrounds and varied musical styles. With a lineup that includes Mexican, El Salvadoran and Japanese roots, and influences ranging from Smashing Pumpkins, Bowie and The Cure to The White Stripes, Black Sabbath and Radiohead, Midnight Radio is a band that proudly celebrates all the audacious colors of rock ‘n’ roll.
