That land being the good ol’ USA, of which The Othermen have soaked up its most salacious R’n’R moves – primarily, 1950’s greasiest pompadoured yalps and 1960’s surf-waves cluttered with 2017 levels of filthy garbage – then dump on the speed-kicks of ‘90s garage punk and a heapin’ helpin’ of seriously slashy Brooklyn rent runaway shakes.

A killer drummer who pre-breaks his equipment just to save time; a tall, groovy bassist who looks like he just fell out the side of your TV while watching Beyond the Valley of the Dolls; a lovely keyboard lass taller than that whose arms and head only stop careening when her hell-length hair gets caught in her throat; and of course Franco-Native-American mega fuzz fucko Max Frechette, jumpin’ and eye-buggin’ and strangulatin’ his boot-made guitar and hooch-marinated croon into squeals and howls.
