Street poet and entrepreneur, Jamima Jonez is a MC in a league of her own. Rising from the struggle of the Sydney streets to establishing a Melbourne music empire, Rubix Warehouse and Our Friends Farm entertainment center. JJ started writing rhymes in her late teens as a way of processing the every day happenings in her far from normal life, quickly becoming addicted to soul bleeding hip hop and bad asse bass lines. These days, JJ sways more from the depth of her darkness and jams party vibes at drum and bass gigs, hosting the monthly Free Dope parties and international heavy weights like Dillinja, Aphrodite, Kenny Ken, Brookes Brothers and too many to mention. To describe her sound, you can only go rugged and raw, straight up old skool hop hop steez with a rare realness in her swag giving her an unmatched individual identity.
