The concert was a soothing balm for my heart and soul, a beautiful connection to the essence of Hawai‘i and its rich culture, brought to life through the heartfelt musical expressions of these three incredible artists. Whenever my friends and I reminisce about that night, it brings warm smiles and a shared sense of lightness, as if the music still lingers in our hearts. I’m profoundly grateful for the gift of that experience and will carry it forward, sharing its spirit with my world. Keahi E.

What a beautiful event! The music was spectacular, the venue was gorgeous and the food at luau was amazing!! The ONLY thing that could have been better was the audience - people were talking and many times had to be “sh’d” to hear the music and stories from the performers. Perhaps the food should have been served an hour before the music so people would socialize earlier during the food & beverage serving time, be settled and ready to listen. It did seem to quiet down once everyone had their meal. Thank you for this lovely evening!

The event was fantastic! The venue was intimate, warm, and welcoming. Everyone was very friendly. The acoustics were just right for the venue. The music was performed with such joy emanating from the musicians that it touched the soul... Thank you for a wonderful evening of Hawaiian music. Maholo!

Great evening of authentic Hawaiian music! Each musician performed about 5 songs individually and then 2 songs together at the end. Concert opened with “Aloha ‘Oe” and closed with “He Hawai’i Aloha”. A couple of wahines even danced hula to a couple of songs. A magical experience; mahalo nui!

A great show! Show starts promptly at 6:30 and the traffic into Lahaina is wicked. The show is a lot of fun, the different acts are all very talented. The hula lady is a definite added bonus , with her beautiful hula renditions of songs. Recommend

We had a fabulous time at the George Kahumoku, Jr, Tia Carrera & Daniel Ho concert! It was excellent! We could have stayed all night listening to Uncle George’s smooth voice & beautiful slack key guitar. Tia’s voice is silky & lovely along with Daniel Ho’s awesome ukulele playing. The emcees were great too! We look forward to seeing Uncle George, Tia & Daniel again. Aloha, Aunty Myra & Cyd

Out of this world!!! Uncle George is fabulous, as always and the young man with him is very very good. But Ken Emerson was unbelievable! What a guitar virtuoso!!! He also has a lovely voice and way about him. His playing was stellar, not one miss, and soo soo beautiful!!! We were mesmerized and floating, a tru eHawaiian experience!

This show was fantastic! Daniel Ho has to be the most joyful person on the planet and his musicianship off the charts! Tia Carrare was delightful and we loved here voice! Uncle George was his usual fantastic self, involving the audience in the musical experience.

George always gives an amazing show — no matter when or where! He is a must see!

Great show. For 90 minutes I felt like I was in my adopted home. Can't put a price on that.

In spite[ of the pouring rain and wind that blew umbrellas inside out , the show was spectacular . After visiting with friends, we enjoyed real Hawaiian music, dancing and talk story. We were in a warm and friendly place; just like Hawaii. Mary Alice

We enjoyed the performance - I keep forgetting to watch them as Sunday is not a day we are used to seeing something like this. I wish the watch times included more days. It's not likely we would watch it again - something where you could see it once but with a longer window of opportunity to do so

Another GREAT show, "put together" by George and Nancy. The Freight was its usual, spectacular venue. A favorite on mine which I always highly recommend to all. Fun to be back at a live performance. The Freight has Covid security measures in place and enforced like no other I have witnessed. Requirements for entry exceeded those imposed by local hospitals.

Mastery is the perfect word for each of these artists. Watching Herb Ohta, Jr. play a four-string ukulele and your mind thinks it’s listening to a 12-string guitar. Then George Kahumoku plays a 12-string and you think it’s an orchestra. Ledward Kaapana steps in with a “mere” six-string and adds the final flourish of “oh my …” Each talk story giving depth to their songs. Together, you feel like your in their private club house with their living jabs and modest self-deprecating wit. A must see for anyone who appreciates life.

The show was fantastic as always ! Such variety in all three artists and they kept getting better . We look forward to their return and having the concert downstairs in the Rusty Anchor Restaurant was a beautiful venue looking out into the water and being serenaded by lush Hawaiian Mele ! Mahalo to all the Uncles and their Ohana for coming to snowy Cleveland but we all left with our hearts filled with warm Aloha.

The Slack Key Guitarists were amazing. So much talent, so much passion. I was happy they educated us on the origin & development of Slack Key style guitar. I also enjoyed hearing each individual musician play separately then hearing them all together. A wonderful, personal performance. So much gratitude to have seen it!!

fantastic flashbacks of islands adventures... these guys definitely know their instruments + offer songs, stories, & even hula fun to make a marvelous event at a grand venue!
