John Dhali is simply incredible live. Beautifully crafted songs sung with energy, passion and emotion. All of Johns songs have a strong message and his live performances are something to beholden. The variety of his music, from the raunchy blues inspired Cigarrette to the delicate beauty of Through the Dark, kept his audience entranced throughout the two hour set. This, together with his hilarious on stage banter, largely centred around mental health issues and how Hindu philosophy has helped him overcome his own issues, made for a truly memorable evening.
