About Last Supper
Last Supper was formed in 1994, after the demise of thrash icons Animosity and punk/hardcore band Blistering Body Pus. Since their inception, they took the Colorado metal scene by storm after recording a demo tape, "Pass The Beans" in 1995 and "Now Serving" in 1996 on the Mosh Pit Records label. Both were praised as "classics" by fans and magazines across the world. In 1997, they recorded "Second Serving: Look Whose Invited", also on the Mosh Pit Records label which placed them above the rest in their local metal scene. Opening for national acts such as Fear Factory, Testament, Sevendust, Prong, Sacred Reich, Hed (pe) and Snot, put Last Supper on the road 3 times, spreading their brand of metal referred to as ChunkFunkSupperCore and quickly made the band pioneers of metal in Colorado. Last Supper began work on their next project "Y2K", after leaving the Mosh Pit Records label and creating their own label, AirSick Records. The release of "Y2K" would prove them as a band with an agenda but unfortunately they disbanded in 2002 after an 8 year run. The band came back together in 2004 for a reunion show, which packed the venue and they decided to play once a year for the fans who were dedicated to them. Last Supper still play shows once a year and are now busy writing new material for another cd which will be out in the not to distant future. "It's not over just yet and we will continue to play and write new songs until we're old and beat" says singer Pete Schroll followed by "We are old but we can't be beat" by singer Teddy Schroll.
