Wire Method

What started in the frosty Georgia January days in early 2010 with two teenage sisters wanting to sing and play their hearts out on a stage has certainly grown. With the installation of the youngest Scott sister and three guys with an equally shared energy for good music, this sextet still just wants to sing and play their hearts out on a stage, but the stage just has to be a little bigger now. Wire Method plays pretty punk music... if you're not sure what that means, go to a show! Or, close your eyes and imagine a cramped stage where six best friends sing, yell, smile, laugh, sweat, and jump up and down to the sounds of drums on top of drums, glockenspiel, tambourine, electric piano, bass grooves that make you move, guitar parts so loud and in your face that you cannot help but headbang, and all of this alongside vocal melodies and harmonies pretty and sweet, intertwining amidst a flourish of shifting dynamics. If you love life-all of life for what it is-its highs, its lows, its mornings when the sunshine welcomes you warmly through a slit in the blinds, its nights spent with the best of friends-talking about nothing but still laughing harder and remembering more from that night than from many more "significant," its days when everything seems to have changed and everyone seems to have abandoned you... that exchange-that give and take-is life, and Wire Method tries to translate that into music. Harmonies swirling over loud, organic indie/alt music. It's music for boys... and girls.
