Dean Marc

Growing up in Durban, South Africa on the beach, as a kid his passionate was surfing. 1989s was the year of explosion of the heavy acid house movement across South Africa which was to be the decisive influence over Dean Marc 's musical direction. These new sounds from pulsing from urban warehouses shook his musical belief system to the core. At the age of 21 he relocated to Zurich, Switzerland, where he met a dj producer, Pedro Flores, who gave him inspiration. With this combination of experience he was to emerge with focus for forward thinking, original house and techno and underlying interest in sonics and dance-floor dynamics. Dean Marc started djing in 1994, in Zurich. In 1996 he than started his career in dj ing around clubs and bars around the city, playing along side some of the best switzerland has to offer. In 2001 he decided to relocate to London, since then he has played at most big clubs around the capital including the Egg, ministry of sound, the cross, the end etc..... Dean Marc is the founder of SoftPorn Dj s, doing underground parties all around East London.
