Conscience Lost

"Conscience Lost" is a band originating from Gothenburg, Sweden. The raw energy music is probably the most significant for the band. With hard hitting melodic riffs, emotional up building strings and raw melodic vocals, they give an edgy and powerful sound but still soothing for a radio friendly world. The band consists of the two core members of the band "Halostate" that is now looking forward to build a new band and make an impact on the swedish rock scene. Sometimes we need to burn the old to create space for something new. In the search for permanent band members, Kutter and Eldest 11 stepped in and helped the band by recording vocals to two of their songs, "This Time" and "You're Not Alone". Demos of these songs is now streaming on YouTube to bring a taste of what's to come. The band is not your "typical" rock band. They bring a mix of multiple music genres with an edgy and powerful feeling yet not too aggressive for the calm radio listener. Their influences goes wide containing alternative rock bands such as Trapt and Breaking Benjamin, modern hard rock bands like Red, Chevelle and Nu-metal bands such as Sevendust, Staind, Deftones. Inspired by many bands out there they try to bring a new type of music into the Swedish rock scene that gives a wider prospect to the audience out there. The main prospective of the band is the constant believe in that if you really want to succeed, you have to let go of all that holds you back. Believing that their own promoting and friend network is the key to success, they try to reach as many people out there as possible through hard work, giving out their music for free etc. "The labels out there give you a great opportunity to reach out with your music, but the hard work of friend connections and such are the beginning for your reach to the top of the music industry. That's why we feel that before we are ready to even try to contact a label we need to establish our music to the audience out in the nearby locations" "Conscience Lost" is about the fact that life is not always black or white. It is not always obvious how to act in different situations. In a life long struggle between different choices, we sometimes need something or someone that leads us in the right direction, to tell us that everything will work out in the end.
