Chilly Gonzales

I have been meaning to catch "Gonzo" for ages, and last night, it happened. I totally love his broad contradictions of style, as did the whole audience. The way he can go from such delicate finger pieces on the piano to total chaotic thunder and back again is a sight to behold. The band were all up to the task and cooed well with the apparent chaos. Highlight for me was "Never Stop" Chilly Rap version and Chilly going through the stalls high giving everyone and standing on the backs of the chairs. Also new track F*** Wagner on Timpani was another crazy detour. In Gonzo we trust.

Always a pleasure. Some friends who were the as well said: „Didn’t hear as good music as his for a long time.“

Der Einstieg mit dem ersten Stück der Show war durchaus extravagant, wenn auch künstlerisch schon auf hohem Niveau. Danach waren wir beide gefesselt und begeistert von der musikalischen Crossover-Experience. Und Chilly ist neben seiner musikalischen Qualität auch ein toller Entertainer. Ich bin froh ihn mitsamt klasse Band endlich einmal live erlebt zu haben. Danke für den famosen Abend!

Ein tolles Konzert, wer Chilly Gonzales noch nicht gesehen hat, sollte das unbedingt tun.

Chilly Gonzalez est toujours aussi excellent, il nous fait chavirer du solo, le plus calme aux morceaux énervés en passant par le rap.

„Chilly Gonzales ist schon eine gewisse Legende, vor allem in dem Sinn, dass man nie so recht weiß, was einem von ihm als nächstes erwartet. Mühelos bewegt er sich zwischen Hip Hop, R’n’B und Kammermusik und schmeißt auch gerne einmal alles zusammen in einen Topf“ Besser kann man es kaum beschreiben. Es bleibt ein unvergesslicher Abend. Ich freue schon auf die nächsten Konzerte .

Großartig, wer Chilly Gonzales noch nicht gesehen hat, sollte unbedingt ein Konzert von Ihm besuchen. Dies war mein 9. Konzertbesuch, seine Musik, sein Klavierspiel und die Performance sind genial. Meine nächsten Konzerte habe ich schon gebucht.

Alors que Chilly Gonzales pourrait se contenter d’être un virtuose, il arrive à chaque concert à transcender la musique avec une honnêteté, un humour et un style inimitable! Longue vie Gonzo, toujours un plaisir de voir vos shows (même dans une ambiance prout prout de classique 🙃).

Chilly' set was fantastic...a contemporary composer at his best! Cane's set was a little too experimental for my tastes. Limón's set was better. And Eve's set was too simplistic and lacked energy.
