The Head And The Heart

Wish I could give the show 6 stars! Have loved this band half my life now, was almost in tears MULTIPLE times getting to hear them live. And the crowd interaction was incredible. It really seemed like they love what they do, and I love their music more than I can say.

This show was so amazing, I have been to a show at Edgefield before and it's such a beautiful venue. The Head And The Heart was a band I am so glad I got to see, they played my favorite songs and sounded so good! They had a ton of merch as well. I am lucky that my family won two tickets and I can't wait to see more lovely performances in my lifetime!

The head and the heart was amazing as always, but I was somewhat disappointed in the venue. The email said explicitly NO outside food or beverage, but then at the gate, people were let in with their water. I wish I could have brought mine, or that they had free BOTTLED water at the venue. My biggest complaint to take away one star is that the sound quality was not very good. I've seen this band three times, and this time was a bit of a let down because the volume was way too loud and the mix was weird so the music was hard to understand/poorly balanced

This band! A perfect blend of previous albums, hits, and the new album Aperture. Their sound is always damn good, the multiple voices and harmonies sweet, and piano and drummer so distinct,. Add that up and at the salt shed to boot! Loved the evening and a bonus was Katy Pruitt and Wilderado

Awesome lineup of bands! The sound was really good, and the video screens were great. General admission access was so much better than Sound on Sound. VIP had adequate space, it was not too crowded, and the elevated platform(Bandshell) was a nice benefit. The bathrooms in VIP were nice , there were plenty of Porta potties in GA. The alcohol and food prices were ridiculous, and that was the only downside!

Incredible performance from The Head And The Heart w/ special guest Yoke Lore. Such a great show! Iwas able to snag a ticket to this sold out show as a birthday gift for myself. We shared the Call of the Razorbacks with the artists on stage. I have never seen that happen at a “music” event. Great energy & experience!

Opener Yoke Lore has an amazing sound, so glad we got to see them! Head and the Heart had a great show, energy was up and crowd was into it. The Capitol Theatre was an awesome venue. I'm not sure there is a bad seat in the balcony. Overall 10/10 would recommend!

I love the Head And The Heart, and the show they put on was good, the set list was an excellent mix of new and older tunes. The sound, I am sorry to say was pretty bad. The Hart theater is a mid size theater, the sound seemed loud enough for a stadium. The lyrics we completely unintelligible with the exception of the few quieter songs like Down in the Valley. The issue was not the size of the theater, because the opening band was quite loud and the lead singer was easy to understand. In my opinion, whoever was doing the sound , fell down on the job.

My first concert was Journey w/ Glass Tiger in 1986 (Indianapolis). I'm a "Live Music" guy & have been to HUNDREDS of concerts since then. From NWA & Run DMC to James Taylor & Jimmy Buffett to Guns 'n Roses to Bryan Adams... This might have been the best live show I've ever seen! THATH is the absolute BEST!

Fantastic show. My only complaint is that “The Head and the Heart” went on before the second headliners. We left early so that we ended with them, since that’s who we went to see. If the other band had gone before we would of stayed all night. Either way it was well worth it.

How does this band get better EVERY time I see them? It's crazy. Even the songs you don't know, you find yourself singing along to. Dawes as the opener was an extra special treat. Honestly, I went to see Dawes but was blown away by the main act. Hadn't seen The Head and the Heart since I lived in Indianapolis. Whoa, baby, they have upped their game!

SOOOO AMAZING!!!! Charity Rose and Matt’s little girl even made an appearance at the end of Dawes’ set (which also put on a fantastic show), and they sang with Dawes for “All Your Favorite Bands.” It was magical, and we got to hear it twice… BECAUSE, the Montana weather made its appearance… thank you guys so much for sticking with us and finishing out the show and not rain-checking. That meant a lot to us, especially those that drove from all over the state just to come see you play. It was even more spectacular with the lightening in the canyon behind the stage as they played. Seriously, this was just such a phenomenal concert!! Please come back to Montana again soon!!

Beautiful night in a beautiful venue with Beautiful music. The Head and Heart put on a great show mixing in new material with their favorites. The Rooftop at Pier17 when the weather is good is a spectacular place to see a show. You're not too far from the stage anywhere. The background is the NYC skyline and the Brooklyn Bridge. The Head and Heart were in great form and I'm really liking the rapport between Jonathon, Charity and Matt who is a newer member. They were tight and sounded great.

It's not on The Head and the Heart. They put on a stellar show. The sound quality at River Bend isn't up to snuff. As the show wore on I realized that I couldn't hear the guitar or piano in any of their pieces. Kind of a shame because both of those guys are excellent musicians. As far as the show itself, I was glad to be there.

The acoustics were terrible; a winery may not be the best venue, BUT The Head and the Heart were wonderful and made the night supreme. No matter the acoustics; bring us The Head and the Heart and we will be there! Thank you Jet City, Thank you The Head and the Heart. We love you.

This show was absolutely amazing. It was really the first concert I went to by myself. It was such high energy and great spirit. They talked about how us fans made it such a great night as well as how much they enjoyed the tiny room we were in. Obviously they were used to larger shows. The set up was amazing and the songs they played were amazing. I am also excited for the Mt. Joy album.

The Head and the Heart is even better live than recorded! The small venue made the music even more alive and wonderful. I'll be happy to go see them every time they're near me, and would recommend seeing The Head and the Heart to anyone who loves real music and great shows!

I've seen this band grow over the past seven years and let me say I've always been and continue to be inspired by their passion to the music they write. The show was full of energy and joy, everyone was smiling ear to ear singing their hearts out. Much love to this incredible group of musicians.

Band was amazing! The show was a lot of fun, the only things that would have made it better are the mix levels being balanced a bit better and the drunk girls behind us being escorted outside sooner... I mean, who gets that shit faced to listen to a poet open the show?? I enjoyed the openers and wanted to enjoy them in peace. I would have if it hadn't been for that annoyance.
