Gregory is amazing, I was finally able to see him live! Great voice and great human being, he's very charismatic. The only weak point of the show was technical difficulties. I found it very disrespectful to Gregory and to the audience that his microphone was shot to hell, specially after the technical staff somehow took 30 minutes to set up the equipment after the opening act. 5 (infinite) stars to Gregory and his band, disappointed by the venue and technical staff.

Mom and I truly enjoyed his presence and the band. He has the storyteller vibe with his music. He mixed it up. We were in the top tier seating but it didn't matter. We felt the vibes. Very enjoyable.

The impeccable sound quality of the venue contributed to creating an immersive atmosphere, plunging the audience into the heart of the musical magic. Gregory Porter is one of the most charismatic and inspiring performers I’ve ever enjoyed. His voice is distinctive and mesmerizing. There were times I got goosebumps from the emotion he emitted, especially when singing tunes that he wrote. The Smith Center was the perfect venue. Blessed to have experienced his amazing talent and performance.

I’ve seen Gregory several times and it’s always a delight. Last night’s show was a masterful performance. His voice was perfect, his joy contagious. I brought a few friends who had never heard of him and they were between speechless and (joyfully) tearful. Moved to their cores by his (and the band…my god, the trumpeter) skill, passion and love. Kudos to LA County’s Beaches and Harbors Department for presenting a FREE show that was well-planned and managed.

Mr. Porter never disappoints. His voice is so sultry and strong. He did some of his classics, a few new songs... Even an encore. The jazz ensemble was better than ever. Thank you to Burton Chace for providing us with the opportunity to enjoy this free summer concert.

Gregory Porter is so full of joy and spirit. The concert last night was everything we hoped for and more. His voice pours out like liquid love. Can’t wait to see him again. He’s our favorite. Genuine, kind and humble.

The concert started 30 minutes late because the parking at the venue is inadequate. After people finally reached their seats, the artists provided a very entertaining two hour show. You can never get enough Gregory Porter.

The artist was very good and the ticket pricing was great. Seats were good. The concert started an hour and 15 minutes late which is rough when it is a Sunday night and we had traveled over 90 minutes (I know it's a choice) to see the show. He had a good set, but did not perform the songs that most came to hear. He acknowledged that at the end and said "you can invite me back".

Gregory Porter is an incredibly gifted baritone whose voice and phrasing pays homage to legendary jazz crooners such as Arthur Prysock, and Johny Hartman. Yet his original music deeply touches the heart with a message that love is welcome here. I could not think of a better memory to cherish than enjoying this concert on Valentines Day with someone I shared our first kiss exactly 40 years ago.

Gregory Porter and Jasmina Horne put on a fabulous show. Jasmina Horn open for Gregory and she gave so much of herself that I have no problem paying to see on her own. Gregory Porter when he came on as always was an extremely gracious showman. His voice was fabulous. He gave room to the musicians with him to have their spotlight while completely engaging with the audience throughout his performance..

Brilliant! An artist and his band so comfortable in expressing their love of music. The deconstructed of Musical Genocide and the drawing in of various musical reference and influence from The Temptations, Bob Marley to classical music was a master stroke treat to the ear. Fantastic venue.

GP and his band are simply amazing. It’s not often that the artist sounds better in concert. I never knew that he can scat. My mom and I went together and it was an amazing experience that we will never forget thank you GP

Last night I got to remember the beauty of community, of love and I was filled with the kind of inspiration only possible when seated before people who have devoted their lives to becoming great channels of the divine in this case– through their music. The musical selection sent messages of the importance of truth, the pain of heartbreak and through it all loving a pure and potent divinity through the experience of life in songs like Painted on Canvas, Musical Genocide, No Love Dying, Insanity to name only a few. The audience, through their joy, attention, dance and reception of these beautiful souls made the cycle of this great gift complete, and showed me the beauty of what it means to give and receive, and receive and give. My personal gift was in the joy of sitting next to new friends and understanding the magic created when love is so present, when the lyrics are delivered with a clarity that moves all the way through your soul that it opens your heart. I felt, and I am so grateful, the heart of a man willing to love, and his experience of that in relationship, and it changed me. Rearranged something in my soul that had me open to love and life even more, and I am forever grateful for that. A big thank you to the brilliant musicians and to the audience. It was simply divine.

I’ve seen him 4 times but this was absolutely the BEST CONCERT 🎵 ❤️❤️ the band was tight and he was not only superb in his singing but he was sooo personable! He shared beautiful stories of his childhood which endeared him to the audience even more! Thank you Gregory for such a memorable evening! 👏🏾👏🏾👏🏾👏🏾👸🏽💯💃🏿🌹🌹

This was not my first Gregory Porter show, so I knew it was going to be good. But the atmosphere was on another level. During one song, I think half the audience was in tears and he received a standing ovation. Then he started crying on stage. An incredibly moving experience.

I was overwhelmed by emotions at this concert!! Loved Loved Loved it!!! So much so, that I convinced my sister and her husband to see him in DC on 2/15/2022!! The venue in Scottsdale was wonderful!! Excellent crowd, acoustics, parking and COVID TESTING!!!

Excellent venue, nice selection of artists. Gregory Porter capped off a very nice evening with an excellent selection of his memorable hits so far. Going deep to explain the origin of the songwriting was a nice way to start the weekend off. The musicianship was off the charts but wouldn’t expect any less from such artist. The entire crowd was very familiar with the artist and it showed. Last saw this artist before Covid, so it was nice join a crowd who fully enjoyed an artist in their very best light.

This man is a timeless soul who has storytelling talent ahead of his time. The only reason not I didn't rate this show a 5 is because he left us all wanting more. His next concert will definitely be on my radar.

The concert was amazing! I "dragged" my husband there (big rock guy) & he went for me but it wasn't long before he started to really dig the music and now is as big a Gregory Porter fan as me!
