3/22/14-Lucid Empathy is formed by Mark Breeden and Alex Gear and begins. 6/28/14- First show, at the Region Show's 16th Annual Anti-Variety at Camelot Hall, Portage, IN. 11/14- The LE EP Pt. 1, 6 track debut demo, independently released. Tracked and produced by Chris Nemeth at Gorillabird Studio in Hobart, IN. 12/14- Original Lucid bassist Kale Slager passes away. RIP brother Kale. 12/14- Live radio WJOB acoustic performance and Interview in Hammond, IN. 3/13/15- First music video, for song "Fake" released. Filmed and directed by Christopher Nemeth. 7/12/15- Opened for Puddle of Mudd at Big Shots in South Haven, IN. 2/27/16- Opened for Randy and Mr. Lahey from The Trailer Park Boys at Big Shots in South Haven, IN. 5/13/16- Opened for Escape The Fate and New Year's Day at Big Shots in South Haven, IN. 9/1/16- Will be opening for the original Local H on their final date of the 'As Good As Dead Anniversary Tour' at Big Shots in South Haven, IN. ?/?/16- The 17 track 'Lucid LP' will be released. Among The Essence-Current Lucid bassist Tres Beatty's main band that he does vocals and guitar in. Their drummer Joe has filled in on drums for us at shows as well. Invalidated: Current Lucid drummer Troy Jackson's main band. Their vocalist William Pizzolato can often be spotted on stage with us during shows chimming in on songs. All But Romeo: A great friend of Lucid Empathy since we met at our first show. ABR vocalist/bassist Christopher Nemeth recorded and produced our 6 track EP for dirt cheap, took us on free promo shoots, directed and filmed the music video for Fake as well as record and produce the track for it. He has created free EDM remixes to our songs. He has come to countless shows and filmed/photographed our sets. He has even filled in for us last minute on bass for shows. A blessing for this band in our early stages. All much appreciated. Region Shows: Edward Roseberry and Elton Bock. Nothing but love for them. The ones who brought us in from the beginning. They have helped us in so many ways and given us many opportunities and chances to succeed. Watching them grow over the years from a dirty ass basement, to a bowling alley, to a next level venue like bigshots as we watch the band grow at the same time is an awesome thing.
