The Illegal Eagles

Had a slightly restricted view but was told that when I booked- have seen them a few times now and it’s great to get a fix on Eagles music live without the difficulty of getting to an actual Eagles concert . They play so much of the songbook getting very close to an original performance in most tracks. They create a great atmosphere and engaged so well with the Marina crowd who lapped it up Brilliant!

Really excellent band and performance, great harmonies and voices, very nearly as good as the real thing i.e. Eagles. Excellent show, really enjoyed it, would certainly go and see them again. We saw another Eagles tribute band before Christmas, however, the Illegal Eagles were much better, not just re. harmonies but also with performance. Definately 10 out of 10.

Excellent musicians faithfully recreating Eagles classics. The band built a great rapport with the audience. The was one downside. Because the Eagles didn't write enough well know songs to fill a two hour show there were a lot of songs which were not familiar. In particular the Illegal Eagles played Hotel California for the encore ( which went down very well ) and then played another song, which none of the friends I was with had ever heard of, as the last song of the show. This was bit of an anticlimax. There is no easy answer to this problem but the song selection and running order needs careful thought. If you are a hardcore Eagles fan with every song they recorded this issue won't be a problem. I'm going to see the whats left of the original Eagles next month. I note that they have solved this problem by having a support act.

As usual, the Illegal Eagles put on a great show that was well-received by the capacity crowd. If you enjoy the music of the original Eagles, you will enjoy this very talented group of multi-instrumentalists with great vocals. It's the fourth time I have seen them at the Blackpool Grand Theatre so, to summarise, a great concert in a magnificent theatre.

The venue is fantastic, easy to park ,venue accessible for those who have walking difficulties or are wheelchair users . Efficient friendly staff.Probably one of the best theatres going for views ,not really a bad seat in the house due to the layout. As for the band fantastic just when you think they can't get better they seem to turn it up that bit more . Wish they could be on two nights .

My wife passed in July and we have seen the boys getting on for 20 times over the last few years. So this time over here in east Yorkshire was special along with my wife’s ex husband along came our daughter and granddaughters our son and his family ( 8 In Total ) it was a very emotional night and the boys didn’t disappoint. Thank you guys have a brilliant Christmas our first without our special lady xxx

Absolutely Fantastic evening! We brought my husband's Mum to see the ILLEGAL EAGLES for her Birthday as she loves THE EAGLES music...We were all blown away by the singing, the harmonies and the playing.My mother-in-law was a very happy lady who thought you were BRILLIANT,she hasn't stopped smiling since. WELL DONE GUYS! A HIGHLY RECOMMENDED MUST GO SEE SHOW.

What a concert. Seen these guys 3 times now and each time I enjoy them more than the one previously. All great musicians Mike can certainly play the guitar and last night on the piano he was fantastic. Met Mike last time outside with my wife and her friend talked and allowed me to take pictures. All these guys are fantastic they are not a tribute band they just appreciate good music from 70s and 80s and close your eyes and they are the Egales. May the play forever.

Was at the last Eagles UK concert in Hyde Park London last year. What a fantastic band, loved them when I was young and this was the first time watching them live. Last night I watched a UK Eagles tribute band called The Illegal Eagles in Cornwall Uk where I live. Wow! A super top tribute to the real Eagles. Vocals and instrumental were spot on. Booked again to see them in Cheltenham UK in November. Brings back my younger days, Lovin it 👏👏👏

Yet again watching the Illegal Eagles was a great show. You guys are so true to the Eagles sounds at times I had tears in my eyes. Tequila Sunrise wow I loved it. Well all of the show. Hotel California to end the show brought the house down. Keep playing you are so so good. Thanks for the pleasure you give. Ps one request any chance of doing “A New York Minute” a big favourite of mine and myself.

A fabulous night being thoroughly entertained by world class musicians and vocalists. Their tribute to the music of the Eagles is spot on. Harmonies are tight, guitar riffs are amazing and they have great banter and interaction with the crowd of loyal fans. The IE play all the expected 'hits' and a few more obscure ones too. A performance not to be missed.

I had heard this band was was good but they surpassed all my expectations . Brilliant musicianship and with a twist to some songs with a two piece brass section They covered most of the Eagles classics with a couple of rarities and most of the Eagles members solo works .They also indulged themselves with some light hearted banter with the audience I would recommend this band for a highly enjoyable night out -I shall certainly be looking at the tour dates for another chance to see them again as soon as possible .

Absolutely fabulous concert once again. Superb musicians and singers and great entertainment. Will be back and back as long as they are performing. Regular visitor to the Churchill Theatre and never disappointed. Credit to the band, staff and audience who handled someone being taken ill in the first half really well. Thankfully the gentleman concerned will be OK and the band offered tickets for when they play in Bromley again. Nice touch.

Guildford venue was convenient. Great bldg. Clean and bright. Felt spacious which is good since we are both oldies and still covid aware! We have seen the illegal eagles before so knew exactly what we could expect....and we were not disappointed!! They were spectacular!! The music was wonderful. I especially love the stories they tell. We took some friends who had not seen them previously. They loved it too. GREAT EVENING! Thank you boys x 20:20

An excellent copy band of the famous Eagles. They are superb singers and play their instruments to perfection. They interact with the audience and each other in a way that enhances the audience. Their performance is punctuated by explanations about the Eagles history, including band member changes and the inspiration for some of the songs. I will definitely see them again!

The 3rd time I've seen the band. Without doubt the very best Eagles tribute band. Top class musicianship, top class vocal harmonies, top class presentation. The show took place only a couple of hours after the announcement of the Queens passing. The Band paid tribute by opening the show with a rendition of the National Anthem. (very professional, very classy)

The band were fantastic as usual, but the show was spoiled for us by some drunk, obnoxious females behind us who shouted all the way through the show. They were spoken to by an usher, but continued after he had gone. People like that should be ejected if they continue after a warning. There were others who complained as well.

Amazing as always. Fourth time seeing these guys and I’m sure they are better than the originals!! Singing, guitar playing and banter all brilliant, and great to learn about the history of some incredible pieces of music. Still don’t think the concert hall is the best venue - kings theatre feels a bit more intimate and more dancing!! Will still definitely be back next time they’re in Glasgow!

This was the fourth time we had seen the illegal eagles at the Grand theatre and they certainly dident let the audience down, a perfect set list with trevor explaining about the origins of the songs and witty little story's, the second set built up to the climex of hotel california to finish the night off and for us this was possibly one pf the best shows ive seen by them, loved the added musical backing tracks too, a fantastic night and looking forward to a return show next year already.

This was my first time listening to the Illegal Eagles and having been to see the Eagles a number of times, I wasn't sure how I would feel about a tribute act... But need to say after the first few tracks played out, if I closed my eyes these guys are highly skilled and have crafted their tribute to perfection. Look forward to the next time they are in town for that peaceful easy feeling.
