A New Kind of Hero proudly hails from Birmingham, Alabama, a region of the south quickly becoming known as America's new "music Mecca." This powerhouse spans many genres and comes with a variety of familiar flavors and sounds: southern punk, soul, rock-n-roll. Lovingly genre'd by their fans as "grunge-a-billy," songwriter and frontman Blake Loveless says of their sound: "I see stories everyday and hear songs about life playing in my head.
