Toronzo Cannon

The show was absolutely AWSOME ‼️ The music touches my soul. The performance was full of life and energy. He and the band were so friendly and their energy was amazing. Love the way they interact with the fans. I plan to see him again this year, and I will be traveling to a couple of the shows. 🎶

Friday, April 14 was a great night of Blues by Chicago’s own Toronzo Cannon at the legendary Kingston Mines venue!! And on the north stage Omar Coleman brought it to the crowd as well! I missed the show at Rosa’s Lounge bc of my twin’s birthday.

The venue was terrific. Waitstaff did a good job. Food was delicious. And the music was outstanding. Can’t wait until the next show next week!

Toronzo was great, bonus to see John Studebaker opening up for him.

Toronzo truly is the Chicago Bluesman! His sense of humor combined with musical talent make Toronzo a must see show!

Concert was outstanding as Toronto and his band played for several hours, we had great time. The show was a bargain for what we received, we will be back. Ro

The stage and sound were great. His performance was great. His set started off a great night of music!

Once again Toronzo Cannon and Chicago Way band put on a great show. This show seemed extra special because his mom was in attendance and venue is very close to where he grew up. There was several interesting stories he told about growing up in the neighborhood. One was how he played ball in the parking lot and maybe even broke a window of the building we were in. Harmonica player Matthew Scofield joined in for a few songs including an old blues tune about a CTA bus driver which was awesome.

GREAT SHOW, GREAT CROWD!

Attended his show here in Feb. ‘17... Couldn’t wait for his return. This show was even better, mixing in tracks from both of Cannon’s CD’s. Pookie was thrilling on drums as usual. A new bass guitarist and new keyboard player rounded out the band. Keyboards were very energetic and the 21 year old was rewarded with several applause filled periods for his efforts. Toronzo Cannon continues to amaze with his way with lyrics and his interaction with the crowd. One of my favorite moments of the evening was when toward the end of John the Conquer Root he mixed in a little tribute to Cozy Powell’s Dance with the Devil. Simply wonderful. When Cannon returns to Columbus I will be there, and if you love Blues, you should be there, too. Natalie’s is a great venue for music as there is not a bad seat in the house.

Toronzo is the real deal. A great storyteller/songwriter besides being an accomplished guitarist and heartfelt soulful vocalist. Add on top of that that he’s assembled a really talented tight band and you know you’re in for a wonderful performance. This particular show he also had a truly awesome opening act. The Spectaculars were.... well... Spectacular and are indeed another great band with what should be a big bright future. A wonderful show! Thank you Toronzo! Hope to see you again soon Jim
