Morrissey delivered a solid and at times deeply moving performance, with an intimate atmosphere shaped by a setlist leaning toward his quieter material. 40 Minuten Verspätung - das Publikum wartete ohne Vorband Das Konzert dauerte exakt 90 Minuten. Der Saal war gestuhlt - das Publikum stand jedoch schliesslich komplett auch vor der Bühne, im Gang. Das passte überhaupt nicht. Morrissey kann zwar noch singen - wirkt aber unmotiviert, entrückt und skurril - manchmal poetisch englisch ironisch. Fans reissen sich um ein verschwitztes Taschentuch, einzelne Frauen werden auf die bühne gelassen um ihn zu umarmen. Die Band war wie eine Kapelle im Hintergrund. Einzelne Gassenhauer aus den 80er/90er und the Smith werden gespielt. Insgesamt bleibt ein Bild von einem erschöpften Mann, der seine Altersrente aufbessern muss.

Morrissey showed up and was on point. Was one star reduction for the facility, parking crew wasn't controlling traffic and parking could be sold out from under pre paid leaving them paying twice and food court was over capacity within 30m of opening, leaving hundreds outside for up to an hour waiting for the arena doors to be opened.

The show was good BUT I could have done without the various music videos that were played AFTER the lights went dark in the venue; indicating that the show (Morrissey) was about to begin. Lights went dark at 8 p.m. Morrissey finally takes the stage at 8:38. A waste of the crowd's time. His voice is still great. Setlist was...OK. He sang a few of The Smiths (Shoplifters of the World, Half a Person, How Soon is Now?) songs but mostly his solo work. No Now My Heart is Full, The More You Ignore Me, the Closer I Get. Perhaps next time but, for some, this may be their one opportunity to see Morrissey in person.

The show was so good Morrissey was in great spirits, and his voice was amazing. Our late son Travis was supposed to be with me, but he passed away in June due to flooding in our area. My lovely wife Donna went in his place. I know that he was with us, we definitely felt his presence. Travis Tristan Creighton 07/20/05 - 06/15/25 Forever 19 and loved dearly.

One of the most memorable nights, could be even very rare to ever experience something like that again Morrissey was in such an amazing mood. He was in good spirits. He was having fun. The band sounded amazing!!! mariachi Bronx was great as well, and it was as good to be celebrating the end of the old year with Morrissey and with friends.

Morrissey is Morrissey. He's talented, late, and sometimes cancels. But, when he shows, he's beyond fabulous. He appears to be socially conscious, politically aware, and spot on in his dance poses. I'll go to every concert, Morrissey decides to do in chicago. His performance is not to be missed. Thank you, Morrissey, for being you.

Venue was great, music was good and his voice is mostly holding up, but the 40 minute video session was a bit much before the band came on. Also the 50-something’s that feel compelled to get on the stage to get a hug are just annoying. In all, the performance felt a bit disconnected and pretentious, but you have to expect a bit of that from him.

Been a fan ever since I was 12 years old I am 50 thought I knew just about all of Morrissey‘s catalog. He played every song I loved and did not know I loved he put on an outstanding show. He sounds like he did in 1984 he was very kind, I expected him to not be as nice as he was. He is wonderful to his fans and this was the best concert I’ve been to in about a decade. I will go see him anytime. He comes within eight hours of me. Fantastic show loved it bonded with My Son. We sang just about every song with him

He is still the man, the myth and the legend! Outstanding show & performace, amazing setlist and new band members!! I was hoping for another song or two for the encore performances. However, a fan did jump on a very well protected stage during Speedway and hug him. If I was him I wouldn't have been too happy as I do not think he was expecting this with how well the stage was protected. Looking forward to Mahaffey Thearter tomorrow night. Best gig of his I've been to , absolutely adore he set list and was right at the ftont and witness the w8nder that is this man .I even got the label ajd portion from his shirt . From his 8nto of blah blah and possibly blah till that lady note it was perfection . A big thank you to Shug the security who stopped me being crushed in the stampede for the shirt . I on oeaving met a great wee couple Donna and Steve who met at a smiths concert in 1984 and are still together with k8ds and grandkids . Just an amazing night with the most petfect playlist from a great political poetical songsmith aand fantastic band . If this is to be my last concert ofhis then it ended on a massive high . His is a light that shall never go out

Morrissey sempre fantástico. Porém 40 minutos de atraso para começar o show. Para quem já estava lá há 2 horas, isso é uma eternidade. E eu esperava mais músicas antigas. 90% do show foram sons dos 2 últimos álbuns, além de uma inédita que será lançada no próximo álbum, final de março. Mas no geral foi bom... A voz continua espetacular!!!

It was well polished and his band was spot on. When I saw him last, in the same venue, a crazed fan jumped on the stage twice to give him a hug. Morrissey cut the show early for safety reasons. 22 years later I’m seeing a polished Morrissey that delivered on all fronts. Thanks for coming back.

Morrissey was great as always! Awesome venue! Maybe think about getting vegan food truck(s) next time Morrissey comes to town...he’s vegan and has lots of vegan fans. Some really awesome folks attending and met a lot of cool peeps! On the flip side we had some really bad experiences with some crappy people pushing people around to get to the front. Before you say well that’s how it is, no s**t! I’m a veteran concert goer. This was different...some people were straight up a-holes!! Next time I’ll get seats and skip general admission.

Morrissey was as Amazing, incredible, playful and Sounds and Looks better than Ever! It’s not a greatest hits tour but if you’re a real Moz fan you’ll know the Songs and be excited to hear tracks from “California Sun” And “World peace is none of your business “ there isn’t a disappointing Song on the entire Setlist. I was in the Front Row I Love it when Moz is happy and Playful with the Audience. Setlist lasted around 1 hour 20 minutes 23 songs I believe. I would Love to go again Magnificent. Interpol was good as Always but the bass was really strong up front making the vocals a bit hidden but i knew every word anyway .. Fraze Pavilion is a Wonderful venue had Zero problems Wonderful Night!!!

I guess I wasn't certain or sure what to expect I kind of thought it might have been a chronological timeline of his career with Words and Music but it wasn't ... it was a concert and he did play a few songs from his career with the Smiths which I loved you also played a fair amount of solo stuff older and newer... I have to say Morrisseys voice sounded excellent any connected pretty well with the audience. I did enjoy the show and enjoyed it much better than his last tour which I found awfully boring.

Morrissey returned to Toronto last night after a 15 year absence to dazzle the assembled disciples with a banging show. The 90 minute set including deep cuts from The Smiths like "That Joke Isn't funny Anymore" and "How Soon is Now" as well as his songs with a message such as "The Bullfighter Dies" and "Life is a Pigsty." Highlight was after introducing "Jack the Ripper" by asking "Mind if I Smoke?", Morrissey proceeded to totally fill The Sony Centre with dry ice. Literally. You could not see your neighbour at one point. Ever the show man, Moz did not disappoint.
