About Rock University
An Independant Music School with a modern approach to teaching. We have leading instructors for Guitar, Bass, Keys, Vocals and Drums for All Ages and All Experience Levels!
Our 7-18 year old Performance Classes puts a high beginner, low intermediate to Advanced player on a stage with other musicians in a live band setting with live performances at local venues including The Industrial Music Hall (our built in venue) and other local restaurants and clubs.
We also are forming an Adult band where the big kids can play too! If you were a player before and want to get back into music, this is the perfect opportunity for you to jam with other adult musicians just like the kids are doing! Weekly 2 hour band jam sessions with or without lessons depending on skill level.
For those bands who are already together we have programs for you too at all skill levels from those who don't need to learn to play as a group to the beginners who are still working on their style, we have programs for you too including band improvement in areas of showman ship, stage presence, sound, lighting, booking, etc. Instructors for these classes have toured nationally and have been or still are signed to respectable record and touring deals.
We also have a high quality rehearsal facility available for rent 7 days a week and most nights after 8. Convenient, Professional High Quality Equipment, Large Stage, Comfortable, Private and Affordable!
And with the Addition of Music 49's retail expertise we now offer instrument sales and repair, as well as custom built guitars.
