The Trash Cats

The Trash Cats are really nothing more than two guys in their mid 30’s living out their dream. We don’t play shows to get girls or make money, we play them because there is nothing we’d rather do. Whether it’s in front of 9 people or 90, we always have a blast. Over the 4 years of playing in various bands together, Sean and Matt have developed a certain chemistry that allows for the space between the notes to be as powerful as the notes themselves. Combining only acoustic guitar and piano requires both members to take over rhythm duties usually shared by drummers and bassists. The guys find that this limitation has driven their growth as musicians, as well as help define their sound.
