About Rich Austin
Listening to the Beatles on cassettes in his Dad’s Saab 900 was where Rich’s love of music began. His fathers edit of Abbey Road - (where he neglected Mean Mr Mustard and Polythene Pam due to the space on the 60 minute tape), remains as one of his favourites.
Rich attended the Guildford ACM where he honed his craft as a songwriter of both catchy pop and funky rock loaded with influences from the 60s/70s and Britpop era.
This year, he has written the feature song and contributed to the soundtrack for the documentary ‘Brothers in Football’ (BT Sport) which is being shown worldwide.
His second album, ‘Welcome to the Circus’ was recorded between London and Rostock, Germany with producer Enrico Wolf (Marteria, KRS One).
