Jessica Doherty

Jessica Doherty is an eighteen year old songwriter from Northern Ireland. Over the last 18 months, she has been supporting artists including; SOAK, Rainy Boy Sleep, Janet Devlin and Booka Brass Band in addition to appearances at several high profile events including; Glasgowbury, Other Voices Music Trail and MTV Crashes. Jessica recently performed at the BPI Sync Mission in Los Angeles where she recruited a new fan in the form of Gary Lightbody who caught her performance. Her debut single ‘Wolves’ received widespread acclaim on BBC Radio Ulster, Electric Mainline and Amazing Radio (UK). Jessica was chosen to perform live from Smalltown America for BBC Music Day’s nationwide broadcast which resulted in her performance being selected as the best of the BBC’s recent live sessions. Jessica is currently working on her debut E.P after being selected by Generator Northern Ireland for their talent development programme. Jessica Doherty is an 18 year old Irish singer~songwriter.
