Jarod Kerney

Jarod is a singer/songwriter and solo performing artist from Kalispell, Montana, USA. With more than 25 years' experience in the Flathead Valley music scene, he has played all over northwest Montana, Washington, and Oregon, bringing an acoustic alt/rock style that is truly unique. Having played in, and founded, a number of bands and projects across a wide range of genres dating back to 1994, Jarod has been able to incorporate aspects of each into his current sound and style. Drawing comparisons to such well-known American artists as James Taylor and Chris Stapleton, as well as foreign acts that have greatly influenced his style, Jarod is able to bring a truly unique performance to venues that offer entertainment in the form of rock, country, alternative, and even contemporary folk.

Spindrift (Alt/grunge) Bass, 1994, founding member.

Millennial Dawn (All-acoustic, coffee house duo) Bass, acoustic guitar, backing vocals, 1997-98, founding member.
Self titled album released independently February 5th, 1997.

Vanishing Point (Southern rock & blues) Bass, vocals, acoustic guitar (studio only) 1997-2002, founding member.
Self-titled studio album released December 31st, 2000.

The Hollow (Dark acoustic rock) Bass, acoustic guitar, 2003.
Studio demos recorded but never released.

Forest Of Ashes (Symphonic prog-metal) Bass, electric and acoustic guitars, 2003-04, founding member.
Most of one album recorded but never released.

Beyond The Darkness (Grunge metal) Vocals, guitar, bass, drum programming, 2006-08, founding (and only) member.
Debut album "Within The Night's Embrace" released March 13, 2007.

Jarod's solo career began in October 2009. His first public performance as a solo artist was on February 5th, 2010, in his hometown of Kalispell, Montana.
