Grim Village

Grim Village is a rap collective known for their dark, diverse, gritty sound and sharp lyricism. Originally formed as the duo "Bad Guys," consisting of Coy! from Passenger Initiative and the “Murderer of Genres” Fak3 5miles, they gained recognition together in the streets of Austin, TX with their breakout track "Bad Guys." This led to “Bad Guys: The Mixtape,” a 7 track EP that dropped mid July. After winning the "Who's Got Next Rap Competition," they expanded their ranks by bringing in other talented spitters such as Alias and Ghostdogg with a alluring, more sinister style as well as V!Z and Gridlock who produces/engineers their music. “Please don’t call me up” is another one of their tracks that was featured in the festival “Hot Summer nights” playlist of 2024 (made by KUTX 98.9) which has played an important role on their growth. This evolution led to their rebranding as Grim Village. Their debut EP, *Death the Kid*, showcases their raw energy and deep lyrical exploration, establishing them as a formidable force in the underground rap scene.
