About Deaf Crows
Deaf Crows initially began in 2013 as a side project while Jack Chapman & Aeddan Lockett were in the studio recording material from a since disbanded group. With just the two of them, an octave pedal, and a whole lot of jamming, songs poured out and Deaf Crows was born. With catchy beats, soulful vocals and bluesy grit, Deaf Crows quickly moved onto headline gigs in and around Sheffield - working with Fourth City, Paul Venkman Promotions and more.
Their tracks have already caught the attention of radio with 'South China Sea' receiving airtime on both Noize Level Critical Internet Radio, and BBC Radio Sheffield Introducing.
"THIS is why I don't complain about Sheffield two piece bands...Oh yes, we'll have more of that please..." - Christian Carlisle, BBC Radio Sheffield Introducing
"Classic rock and roll with a blues edge, plenty of riffs and a big drum sound. To say they are a two piece they make a hell of a noise, like The Black Keys if they found a bit more soul to their poppy catchy sound. Rhythms that make you want to shake your hips. Great act with so much potential." - Mixtape Couture Music Blog (http://ow.ly/AUQsH)
"Awesome, awesome band…They're slowly becoming one of my favourite bands to go and watch, It's just a great show to see." - Chris Holt, Noize Level Critical Internet Radio Show
Deaf Crows are due to release their debut, self produced EP this year.
