Did you have a mentor or someone who inspired you? I’m at the beginning of my career but my biggest inspiration so far has been my father. I grew up with the music game around me because of my parents, but I was fortunate enough to be able to work on a Jazz Record at the age of sixteen with my pops, which really dialed me in to writing music. How did you get into the biz? I moved out to LA to Hip-Hop dance and was fortunate to work with cats like Usher, Omarion, I even danced on Soultrain for a while but I knew I wanted more then to be a backup dancer. So with the money that I earned form dancing I set myself up with a home studio and started writing and recording. What’s one thing you couldn’t live without? My music. It’s my outlet to openly express who I am. I live, breath, and sleep it, I swear I would go insane without it. Tell us about the project your currently working on? I guess I would say it’s a collection of my life. Love, loss, well not to much losing (chuckles), no but really it’s my experiences that have shaped who I am today. So do you have someone special in your life? I’m like some of us out there, still looking for my number one. So in closing is there anything you would like to tell potential fans?
