Doss Church

With a gift for melody and meticulous lyrical imagery, Doss Church creates a sound that is new and old, original and familiar at the same time. Although best described as Indie-folk-pop, Doss draws inspiration from a variety of songwriting heroes- Paul Simon, Elliott Smith, Ryan Adams, Crowded House, and Tom Petty.

There is a noticeable thread that runs through Doss’s music, a certain feeling- beautiful, mysterious, and haunting- that is clearly reminiscent of both Asheville and the Blue Ridge Mountains, where he has lived for over 20 years.
