Rooster Still

JonEmery & Lauren Ruhl set out on a two week adventure to perform music in the greater North West called The Rooster Tour and doing a collection of songs of a "fowl" nature, the two won over crowds every night with their blend of Old Timey Music, Junkyard Folk and Classic Country performing standards like "Cluck Ol' Hen", Fred Eaglesmith's "Rooster Fight" & "From The Tap, In The Can Or The Bottle" by Hank Thompson along with a handful of originals incorporating a drinking game every time roosters or chickens were mentioned in a song - which was often which led to the name "Rooster Still". At the end of the tour both Lauren & JonEmery decided that a little depth would be beneficial so Billy Hood was added to the line up to play Jug, Banjitar, Stompbox and bring in a few songs of his own! Rooster Still will make their official debut at Honky-Tonk 4 Hunger - Rio Linda April 19th https://www.facebook.com/events/1480818485477808 but in the mean time will be recording a Junkyard Style Demo.
